NEON VEIL
An independent road-racing project in Unreal Engine. Original cars, changing districts, and a reason to take the longer road.

The road-racing prototype
The earlier version 0.6 prototype follows a route from Northline City through industrial streets toward the coast and summit. Its loop connects racing, earning credits, and visiting specialist upgrade shops on foot. It includes three prototype events, AI rivals, traffic, cockpit and chase cameras, and original vehicle designs.
These features describe that earlier prototype. They are not a list of completed features in the newer Realism Lab scene.

The 27 October update shifts the focus to Auvren Realism Lab, a separate sunny workshop courtyard. That checkpoint covers a playable MetaHuman civilian, daylight and surface improvements, and a second pass on the Auvren model.
The car in that courtyard was a static model for visual review. Driving, entering the car, and opening its doors were not implemented there. The published update records a pause after preparing new modeling references.

A note on the names
NEON VEIL is the working title on the current racing game page. Earlier development material uses AFTERIMAGE. Auvren Realism Lab names the smaller visual-development scene described in the latest published update.
