A smaller scene.
A closer look.

A focused courtyard gives character movement, vehicle form, and daylight room to be examined.

The latest published checkpoint moves from the broader racing prototype into Auvren Realism Lab: a separate sunny workshop courtyard. The aim is to concentrate on the visual and character foundations before expanding the scene.

A character to explore the scene

The checkpoint describes an assembled MetaHuman civilian with keyboard-and-mouse movement, walking, sprinting, crouching, jumping, and first- and third-person cameras. Eighteen automated movement checks passed, alongside visual checks of jumping, camera switching, and the crouch pose.

Those checks establish specific behavior. They do not replace broader playtesting or establish that the character’s appearance and animation are finished.

Daylight and surfaces

Work included courtyard lighting and workshop fill, separating the wall finish from the concrete floor, refining surface roughness, and correcting high-DPI window rendering. These changes are part of evaluating how the scene reads in a playable view.

A second pass on the Auvren

Model changes focused on the rear deck, window pillars, front grille, and wheel hubs. Paint and interior materials were refined, and clearer reflective glass replaced the cloudy window material.

The update explicitly records substantial remaining work on body surfaces and details. The photorealistic target had not been reached.

What this checkpoint does not include

The courtyard car was a static visual-review model. Driving, entering the car, and opening doors were not implemented in that scene. The character still had a basic outfit, and geometry, animation polish, shadow performance, and visual fidelity needed further work.

The racing loop described on the original game page belongs to the earlier version 0.6 prototype and had not been transferred into this smaller scene.

The published status

The 27 October update records that development was paused after preparing the reference images. This article summarizes that checkpoint; it does not announce a resumed build, public game download, or store release.
